Men’s and Women’s Residential Programs

Teen Challenge provides separate, 12-18 month residential programs for men and women 17 years old and up (there is no upper age limit). If you or someone you know has a drug problem and you want information on the Teen Challenge residential programs, or to learn how you can help, click here for our Men’s Program or click here for our Women’s Program.

Research

National studies confirm the effectiveness of the Teen Challenge approach to helping those trapped by drug addiction. A recent Northwestern University study concluded that 86% of graduates from Teen Challenge are living drug-free. Click here for more detail about this study and other research.

Philosophy of Teen Challenge

In 1958 David Wilkerson went to New York City to work with young people involved in gangs and drug addiction. Teen Challenge was birthed out of Rev. Wilkerson’s efforts to provide lasting solutions to those who were deeply affected by life-controlling problems.
